Pieces Heather Bergman

Pieces is a collection of poems exemplifying many of the ordeals people go through in their life. Whether we fall to pieces, have our world shattered to pieces, or pick up the pieces and move on, we all fall victim at some point. You will read about love, hate, joy, pain, new beginnings, perseverance and appreciation. Often using pathos or satire, writing poetry has therapeutically helped me to deal with some of the more daunting times I have faced over the years. I've always endeavored to maintain an optimistic outlook and sense of humour, which is also reflected in many of the poems. Thank you for picking up Pieces. I hope you enjoy it.
