Deeply troubled by suspicion and jealousy, a young man follows his wife to the enchanting land of a fairy princess: "The Princess of the Emerald Throne". Then....

A saddler follows a little bird to the magnificent palace of "The Lady of Forty Tresses". But he commits a folly and is thrown out. Nevertheless he cannot forget that wonderful event, and awaits the return of that little bird for seven years. A desperate young prince hears the story in disbelief, thinking that the saddler has made it up. Then he, too, finds his way into that splendid palace and....

The young prince goes to the strange looking fortress of a vicious giant to rescue his fiancé, whom the giant has abducted. He has another task, too, and that is to look for a magic cup to rescue his brother, who is petrified into stone after drinking water from "The Bewitched Pond".
A king and his queen argue about the role of the man and the woman in a family, and ask their daughter to judge between them. The princess agrees with her mother and "The Irrational king" sends her away to educate a very lazy and ignorant young man. Fortunately a bizarre incident helps the princess to succeed beyond everybody's expectation.

"The Sly Fox" puts a string of small bells around his neck, and goes to the king's summer palace. He begins dancing and making funny gestures to distract people, while a big bird takes the princess in its talons and carries her to the woods, where a young prince lives temporarily. The prince decides to take the girl to town, but her father arrives and he is arrested. Presently the prince's father arrives, and.......
