A Faithful Father is the true story of a family who, during the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl years, loses everything except their faith and the father's 1926 Reo car. Without a home for his family of six, the father accepts an offer to live with the owner and share-crop his farm. After struggling four more years during the drought, he makes his car into a pickup, leaves the farm, and uses it to make a living until he is offered an opportunity in Oregon.

By trusting in God and working together for three years, the family purchases a farm in Oregon's lush Willamette Valley.
