A little girl who grows up in foster homes, longs to feel loved and wanted. Instead she is transported from one home to another, never having a sense of belonging. Her father is in prison, and kids at school make fun of her. She yearns for a reason to live. She prays to God to let her die. No one loves her; she is all alone in this world, until one day when she meets an older man. He gets her pregnant, but she miscarries. Not even he can give her a reason to go on living. She runs away but weeks later is found, and is taken to a group home to live in a big, strange city. Finally, she finds the love of a man who cherishes her. He moves her in with him and his parents. They too, adore her. But her happiness is short lived. He later shows his true colors, and begins abusing her mentally and physically. Then she finds out she is pregnant...again. He has given her the most important gift of all...a life to live for.
