He wants to be like other animals that moves quickly on land, in the water, and even in the air. So he searches for answers from friends he meets during a day's journey along Laboona Beach. Treemont learns that true happiness will be found not in what he wants, but rather in what he already has. The story of Treemont the Turtle reminds readers of the uniqueness of all God's creatures. It celebrates children's uniqueness and helps children develop positive self-esteem.
