Gillian Johnson takes a much needed break from ballet, and travels to the village of St. Ives in Southwestern England. Everyone she meets thinks she is a hedonistic folk singer named Zoe Shepherd pulling some outrageous prank. Gillian begins to have memories that are not hers, and thoughts that don't make sense. Zoe appears the same day as Gillian's abrupt departure, and cannot understand why all her artist friends are suspicious. A bizarre mystery begins to unfold when Sinclair, a physicist, and self-styled Druid, formulates a theory that explains the connection between the two women. This haunting tale weaves Druid folklore, quantum physics. and romance into a curious mystery of nebulous identities, romance, resentment and treachery
