Our lives are made of the past, the present and the future. The poems are a mirror of the author's world today and a window into his past. Everyone's past is filled with memories of persons, places and things. The future is made of our dreams and hopes. Louis is and has been a Fine Art painter for over 65 years of his 72 years. Only in 2013 did he begin to express his memories in poems. This book is his 7th poetry book and Louis says it will be his last. The reason is that he must return to his paintings. Louis is the creator of ' Calcite Sun Oil' a revolutionary oil painting medium that eliminates all hazardous materials from Fine Art painting. His books and DVD's on painting materials and techniques have been read and studied across the globe. The images in paintings have been called poetic and poems tell stories with words. The poems are not of one theme nor subject. The reader will find the variety of topics and subjects of interest, as they cover life, death, hope, love and hate.
