Michael Simpson loves "old school" R& B and Mozart. Margaret Hamilton loves Johann Sebastian Bach, Billy Holiday, and Kenneth Brian "Baby face" Edmonds, but more than anything, they both love each other, and they are a perfect couple. When they became friends in high school, Margaret's nurturing and positive attitude helped Michael face his emotional demon and to realize that there must have been a reason why he was allowed to live through the horrible car accident that took his sister's life. But Margaret's carefree teenage life comes crashing down on her when she's diagnosed as having kidney failure. Her only option is to be put on dialysis three days a week. Margaret is so depressed and torn over living her life connected to a machine that she's not certain she wants to go on living. Her only hope for a normal life is to receive a kidney transplant, but she's an only child, and because of her parents medical conditions they are unsuitable donors. Michael is determined to donate one of his kidneys to her, but his parents are against the transplant because they are terrified of losing their only living child on the operating table. Will the love Michael has for Margaret give him the strength and courage he needs to go against his parents and do what is necessary to save Margaret's life?
