The Women of Holy Week offers a refreshing, versatile alternative for Lenten study groups or personal reflection. In this non-denominational, non-Biblical book, 24 women - friends and relatives of Jesus, as well as "strangers" such as Pilate's wife, the woman at the well, and the mother who packed the loaves and fishes - share their thoughts in their own voices on the day after Good Friday. Some of these women are not described in Scripture, but all of them have a story to tell. Each woman adds a detail that illuminates the meaning of Jesus' life on earth, and each one offers inspiration as she shares her deepest feelings and insights.
