We never really know how much time we have. Our end may come suddenly or be long and drawn out. Most of us spend that time in a straight line, going from point "A" to point "B" simply because it's easier to get there. I often think that taking the path of least resistance makes us mundane and bored. Eccentricity has its merits. To be disarrayed, disjointed may seem unproductive, but I believe that our most creative, successful people are a bit flighty. We have become so media intensive (and everyone is a pundit) that we leave our critical thinking skills on the floor. That straight line is becoming our nemesis.
