Eleanor Brown is cast into a world of magic and magical creatures where she is gifted by the goddess of the elves, Rahiona, with the ability to have visions of an encroaching dark army. Her first friend, an elf named Aetheare, is her guide in this new world, able to share her visions of the dark army crossing the lands like a blight. The elves maneuver to block the machinations of the dark army as the identity of its leaders is gradually revealed to Eleanor. In a race against the visions and the terrors of the dark army, Eleanor must learn to master her ability, exercise free will, and bring an end to the dark army seeking to destroy the elves of Rahiona.
