MARSEILLE Boulevard Périer follows Ethan PEREIRA, a London lawyer in his mid forties who has recently moved to Marseille, in the South of France. In the course of a brief encounter, he meets Samantha BRACE who is visiting the city, apparently on a business trip. A couple of days later, the young woman is found dead in a two-bedroom flat she originally rented in Le Panier, Marseille's famous historic district. Lieutenant Bruno LOPEZ, from the Marseille police, is investigating another murder case, that of VIP security agent Michael ASSEMIAN. To the surprise of his most trusted team, LOPEZ has just been taken into custody, in relation to the murder of Miss BRACE.
