The 51st and 52nd States is a cleverly written allegory. It was created by applying a little open-minded imagination to the socioeconomic stratification of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. You'll learn of the existence of some of the laws and organizations that are in place to both protect and maintain the current system. These laws are the real reason Povs are Povs and Spers are Spers. After reading, you will know why things don't work out for some, while others seem to have the Midas Touch.
