The Prometheus Mage James H Metaphor

In a world not entirely similar to our own, a child begins a long journey, only to discover that the powers that the Pantheon controls are not theirs alone. Able to wield their magic for itself, the child must flee or face their wrath. A Devotee, the faithful servant of one member of the Pantheon, witnesses this child's use of power, forcing them to decide whether to aid the child or obey their faith. As the two evade the Pantheon's might, there are more than just their secrets at stake, as lives hang in the balance and only one can dominate.
