Personal recount of fragments from the life of an assimilated Jewish family in Transylvania during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Romanian and Hungarian Fascist-friendly regimes and the subsequent Romanian Communist dictatorship. Family members are portrayed in a matter of fact style, peppered with anecdotal humor. This was originally written as a personal recount for my two Sabra nieces. The short narrative pays tribute to a vanished world. A 2018 Edition is in the works to appear in color and black and white versions. (Hebrew language book, translated from the original Romanian)
