Jacob is on the run. He is escaping from his past, wanting to discover a new life in 1960's San Francisco. Lewis just lost his father, and escapes from the family business to find himself. Annie yearns companionship, but is afraid to confess what she really needs. Pastor Shane preaches and preaches salvation, but at a price. Everyone runs from one thing, themselves. Jacob finds true love, but his troubles soon begin. Lewis sees Annie falling head over heels, however, Annie does not. Pastor Shane, soon, alienates the leaders of his quite church as he harshly rails them for not being righteous enough. What does they all need most in life? Love. But, to uncover their ultimate desires they must fight everything the world throws at them from hopeless, fate, pain, loneliness, betrayal and even sacrificing everything they will hold dear. They dwell in a world of god and goddess, where up and down is left and right, where fantasy shakes hands with reality. Escaping without scars, impossible. They only long to escape one thing, themselves. To get their dreams they must all must face The Monster Head.
