O. C or Original Characters is a collection of characters from a creative mind. It's an artist portfolio with a twist. This pictorial book catalogs some of her favorite characters that she has developed. Each character is different in its own special way. You may see yourself, friends or family members as you get to know the characters. This introductory book introduces us to the author and illustrator. She uses things that she has seen or has happened in her life to build her characters and tell their story. That quality makes this book truly unique. Some of the characters are not even from this world. She does a careful balance of designing the characters down to the finest detail as she considers what their stories will be. She has revised the story of one of her favorite characters, Beaux. You will be intrigued by the story of Beaux and wonder what happens next and what characters she will include. She plans to expand in her writing to give selected characters the ability to tell their story, adventure or triumph over a struggle. Future volumes will display how her art is growing and changing. She continues to write and draw daily.
