Genko Yoshi (or Genkou Youshi) traditional Japanese manuscript paper for correct spacing of characters.

This lovely 6"x9" notebook has 160 numbered pages with 256 spaces per two-page spread. Ideal for students to practice composition or write sakubun.

Part of the Japanese, Korean, Chinese series with with a cover showing a traditional piece of Japanese art by Yosa Buson for inspiration, A Little Cuckoo across a Hydrangea (Haiga). Our notebooks all have a distinctive and often inspirational colorful cover. The notebook is perfect bound so that pages will not fall out and has a soft yet sturdy cover.
