Nicholas Von Miere IV is constantly stuck in the past. In 1985, he was eighteen years old, living on Sunset Strip, and partying from the time he woke up until the time he went to bed (which was a rare occasion). For years, his life was one glitter-soaked orgy of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. Nearly thirty years later, very little has changed. Nicholas is still obsessed with the music of his youth. He's still morally bankrupt, has a terrible drug and alcohol problem, a caustic tongue, an out-of-control libido, and often seems to have no conscience. He has two ex-wives, an estranged son, a vindictive cousin, a sister who thinks he's a joke, snobbish parents who are always threatening to disown him, a fiancée he doesn't want to marry, a train-wreck best friend, and problems that don't end there. He is now one of London's top fashion designers, but his hedonistic life is a constant battlefield. Then one day he meets a young singer/model and instantly becomes obsessed with her. Is she really the answer to all his problems, or will she lead him even deeper into his own hellish world of depravity?
