In the worst hurricane season in history 2005 Dom Mee was caught in the north Atlantic attempting to complete the crossing using an experimental boat powered by kites. The journey starts with friends in a bar in St Johns before leaving for his solo mission. The voyage descends into a fight to try and make to England alive as he battles the tail end of five hurricanes. This true story recounts the true darkness of the ocean. It is a story of despair, failure, survival and ultimately triumph over impossible odds.
