The tale of Moth and Flame, a fantasy relationship ill-fated from its start, is told through poetry and whimsical ink paintings by educator, psychologist, author Anita Rosenfield and her alter ego/illustrator Teeta Hecker. Wooed by Flame, and aware of the danger, Moth undertakes a journey of fiery passion, closeness, and warmth, followed by separation, loss, searching, and despair. She soars above trees, and plunges into the depths; she rises and finds calm, she is tossed by storms. She seeks her love while she seeks her self. Though their liaison is doomed to self-destruct, will Moth survive the fires of Flame's passion?
