Rex Rasor
While lurking in the balcony of Dallas's now infamousTexas Theatre, ten-year-old genius Hieronymus WolfgangPicasso Sly (his mother was eccentric) overheard the plot tokill President John F. Kennedy. Sly frantically sounded the alarm to family, friends and cops, but no dice. Alas, his long history of tall tales got him doubtful looks and unbelieving ears. His only choice was to do what any Roy Rogers-worshipping King of the CapGuns would do:
PREVENT IT!
Sadly, we all know he failed. The aftermath of that bloody tragedy blessed Sly with the fog of amnesia, that is until thirty-six years later when a psychologist's hypnotic regression brought it all back in one preposterous revelation. The kingpin of the murderous traitors was everyone's favorite philanthropist, beloved billionaire Richard Slaughter.
By a fluke Slaughter becomes aware of the revealed secret and sets out to put an abrupt end to Sly's happy trails.
Sly has other ideas.
"The most original novel in years. If Mark Twain had been a Texan his name would be Rex Rasor" - Kinky Friedman
