Sam Spadely was a very unhappy elf. He didn't like to make toys and all that singing just drove him crazy. All he wanted to do was be a private detective. He was always solving minor crimes at the North Pole and he knew that if had a chance he could prove what a great detective he was. One day Sam got his chance. Rudolph is kidnapped by an evil scientist and Sam uses his detective powers to rescue Rudolph before Christmas Eve so that he can lead Santa's sleigh.
