Aleta became a teenager mother at the age of 16 and a high school drop out at the age of 17. She faced many challenges, fears and trials during her years of being a teenager and young adult. Aleta's life was transformed around the age of 24. She experienced such hardship that she decided to take another route in her life which led her on her path to success. 2002 was an exciting year for her because she enrolled in a Medical Assistant Diploma program and completed the program without a high school diploma or GED. In 2003, Aleta decided to take her GED with the hopes of pursuing a nursing degree. When she completed her GED and pre-nursing classes, she discontinued her studies due to her fear of Math once she was in the nursing program. For years, she worked and worked, but felt as though she was not fulfilling her purpose in life. In 2011, she pursued Point University in which she completed an Associates Degree in Christian Ministry. Aleta decided that she was not going to stop regardless of fears or disappointments. After graduating with her Associates Degree, she enrolled in her Bachelor of Science in Human Relations. During the course of her studies, she discovered her purpose in life. Her mission was to empower the lives of other people in an effort to help them to face their fears and make positive choices so that their life can be a success. Today, Aleta speaks to empower, motivate and inspire the life of every person she comes in contact with. She is known for her smile as well as her upbeat personality style. She focuses on the life of young people- helping them to see life in a different lens. She challenges them with real life situations and uses her life story to promote growth and change for today's youth. Her vision is bigger than the human eye can see because she understands and can relate to what young people are facing on an everyday basis. Her mission is to touch the globe and a nation of people who are READY to take charge and create change not just with themselves, but with the lives they come in contact with.
