Society, whether economic, social or political, have experienced the impact of criminal activity and therefore places emphasis on the challenge to generate and aid the potential of reforming the strategies and approaches presently used to mandate a third world judicial system. Poetic Justice was conceptualized by remanded prison inmate Ryan Ramoutar, an innate opportunistic novelist and poet who serves this work in the whimsical form in order to best express and convey the theme of 'prison life' through differing and divergent views. These poems seek to provoke thought and further discussion and analysis for the eventual development and understanding of the sub-culture of those confined, and to incline measures through active rehabilitative programmes for the betterment of the vast humanity.
