Vanessa, now trying to juggle and cope with the demands from BHP Enterprise, which her late father Roger had left her in his will, plus with running her own Fashion Design Business, finally escapes with Ian for a couple of days away, up in the beautiful mountains of the Hunter Valley. Meanwhile, Wendy, Vanessa's mother secretly moves over to New Brunswick in Canada, letting everyone back home think she was going to stay with her parents. With now Wendy truly hoping she can be her old self, like she was before she meet her late husband Roger. With purchasing her own little cottage, making some nice new friends, things were start to fall into place for her. However, things will change for Vanessa and Wendy as they continue to try and live their life's, but how eyes from another person see's things differently.
