When her and Bonachi's leaders decide the best solution is to get her out of the way to just let the furor die down, she's sent on an extended 'assignment' with Bonachi. They reason he has a prior 'claim', and this will give the pair time to get to know each other. It's the perfect answer, right? Bonachi quickly figures out Fael will not be pushed and has to decide if he's willing to throw all his preconceived notions about life and love out the airlock and accept the sassy feline on her terms. My characters quite often pick up the personalities of my family and friends - which can lead to the most interesting of conversations, believe me. My life has become that of a nomad, something I always dreamed of doing. My home is currently a 27-foot, 1986 RV that I've named Myrtle. I go wherever the wind blows me (Sometimes that's literal, not figurative. You should try steering a class A motor home down the highway in a crosswind.) My traveling companions are Mija, a rescued hound of unknown mixed heritage, and a rose point Siamese named Kiko who delights in tormenting both Mija and me when we'd rather be relaxing or sleeping. At the age of 53, having raised all of my children to adulthood - some of them kicking and screaming the entire way - I've decided to do whatever makes me happy. Currently, that happiness is found in writing, visiting and spoiling grandchildren, and making sure my kids have frequent headaches wondering what I'll do next.
