Publisher Marketing: Life as a human in the 1300's was peaceful. A quiet ordinary life. Nothing exciting ever happened, save for the yearly events here and there. The Moors would bloom every year with heather, and the sweet scent of the flowers perfume would settle in the air. I was lucky to have the parents that I did. While most parents cared about nothing more than marrying off their children, and obsessing over money and material items - my parents could not have cared any less. My father, being a great chemist, was often hired by the King and other prestigious members of society for things like medical curiosities, to create things with science, or simply to do random odd jobs and consult about things here and there. His status in society meant we didn't have to worry about money, and so I was able to become educated. I never really was into the whole marriage thing. To me, getting all dressed up and promised to someone you might hate in ten years, seemed like a horrible idea; but all of that changed one day. The day I met HIM. Antarus. With stormy blue eyes, a smile that made my knees weak, and a voice that wrapped around me with a comforting touch, I knew the truth that lied there: He was it, he was the one. But he had a dark secret. As my eighteenth birthday grew closer, the only desire in my heart, was to be his forever. And so, with my birthday at hand, a wedding, and a small ritual, my entire life was changed. My mortal life ended, and my eternal one began. The only fear I had, was if I was to be a monster or Eternally Human.
