Each of these workbooks provides hours of reading comprehension practice. The grades 2-8 Reading Comprehension titles are fully aligned with CMT 4 Standards. Passages range in readability to allow for differentiated instruction. Each question is aligned with CMT 4 standards. The passages also match the format that students can expect to see on the Connecticut Mastery Test. A variety of grade-level-appropriate fiction, nonfiction, and poetry passages are each coupled with multiple-choice and open-ended questions. In grades 5-8, students will find some passages about Connecticut, as well as general interest passages. Each of our grades 2-8 titles also offers a guided introductory section designed to help students learn strategies to succeed on the CMT. Teacher editions include extensive test-specific introductory guides and show correct and suggested answers for each of the questions asked, as well as the targeted skill for those questions. Our reading comprehension books are the most effective test preparation tools available! The content in Mastering Connecticut Reading Comprehension D identical to that in the Grade 6 book. It is ungraded, for use by students who are working below grade level.
