It is 1735. Dick Turpin, the notorious highwayman, is deep in arms that belong to some luscious black curls. He hears the shouted warning that the law is close on his heels. Grabbing little other than his famous horse, Black Bess, he makes a speedy exit through underground caves and tunnels. After a long, dark walk, he and the horse emerge, tired and hungry, on unfamiliar grassy downlands. They find a convenient stable to bed down for the night. When he awakes in the morning, he finds the carriages are no longer drawn by horses and the young ladies tend to be clad in britches. There is nothing for him to do but get on with it - and that turns out not to be as easy as he thought......
