The carefully dissected body of a middle aged Bayfield logger is found in a local meat locker. This is the second book in the Sam Grant series set on Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin, around the Apostle Islands and the towns of Bayfield, Washburn and Ashland. The first book in the series is "A Fog on Devil's Island" and the third is "The Standing Bear." A fourth book, "Feast of the Dead," is scheduled for release in late 2016.
