Baxter's Exorcism
Philip Garre
Following his vote to deny promotion of the young and popular, Alice Boucheron, Professor Jack Baxter finds himself in the cross hairs of Valley College's feminist movement, and his socialistic wife, Myra. When Jack is falsely suspected of sexual misconduct his life and marriage take a nose dive. In an attempt to understand his enemies, Jack delves into Myra's feminist and socialistic books, and undergoes a transformation that shocks his conservative colleagues. These events occur during a period of turmoil over the perceived failure of the college administration.
