After the Ivy is the third and final installment in the Ivy Mystery Series. Having suffered a huge personal loss, Alexa Coughlin-Foley begins to distance herself from Wakefield University, her professional home for the past decade. Now with her mother facing a health crisis, her focus turns to Boston General Hospital, where, in addition to dealing with her mother's care, Alexa begins, once again, to be drawn into a murder investigation. The hospital, it turns out, is under siege, as, one by one, doctors fall victim to a sniper. With a little help from his wife, Alexa, Boston Homicide Detective Mike Foley and his partner, Detective Don Hunt will endeavor to solve this case, while a dark force, from within their department, threatens not only their careers, but their lives.
