Publisher Marketing: A book based off a dream... "I woke to darkness. Much like that of the day I was reborn. The nightmare had returned. I was tied to the bed and had a splitting headache. "Hello?" I cried hoping for help only to hear myself echo pathetically off that ivory dome I knew lingered overhead. I stopped to think and noticed something different. I hadn't noticed this before but my legs hadn't been working. The only reason I noticed now is because my foot tingled and stung at the same time which I can say is not a pleasant feeling. But it was a feeling and for that I was both shocked and overjoyed. I lifted my leg beneath the blanket and slowly bent my knee. No pain. I lifted the other and no pain. Great, something works. Now for my arms. I tugged at the restraints. Nothing. I tugged again and noticed one was looser than the other. I tugged hard and it loosened even more. I tugged hard and it came loose completely and I was free. I wiggle my hand and rotated my wrist. It worked, no problems. I reached over and released my other arm and went to sit up but there was a strap across my chest. It wasn't there before but with both hands free it wasn't there very long. I sat up slowly after fully releasing myself and my head ached. I got dizzy but held myself upright until it faded to a dull throbbing. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and waited again for both my head and leg to stop stabbing themselves."
