Congress commissioned a group of 6 people, "...to make recommendations to solve or at least alleviate our current national economic, social, and governance crises...," such as unemployment, under-employment, outsourcing of jobs, rich getting richer, poor getting poorer, government gridlock and civil unrest. With only seven months to accomplish the impossible, could The Group do it? Yes! A simple question, "What is money," proved to be the breakthrough. They "think outside the box".
