Publisher Marketing: "Thessalonians to Hebrews" is a companion to the Cherokee syllabary-only New Testament digitized and released in 2013. Translated into Cherokee in the nineteenth century under the direction of Revs. Samuel Worcester and Elias Boudinot, the Cherokee New Testament is the largest complex text composed in Cherokee by fluent speakers with command of a high level of the language. For generations, the New Testament has been used by Cherokees of all persuasions to learn to speak and write as their ancestors did. The Epistles were written to instruct fledgling churches around the Mediterranean, and contain straightforward answers to questions confusing the local Christians and their leaders. Hebrews is written to Hebrew (Aramaic) speakers, and faces hard questions about a Christian's duty to keep Jewish law - or not. Deepen your understanding of the Cherokee Bible and the Cherokee language by reading each verse in Cherokee syllabary, phonetic Cherokee, and English. We present the books of the New Testament in a larger type size than commonly available. This is to accommodate those who would like to study the characters in Cherokee, several of which are difficult to distinguish from one another in smaller type. This series provides syllabary, phonetic Cherokee, and English for each verse. We recommend you sound out each word using the syllabary guide in the back of the book. Proceeds from the sale of this volume benefit the Cherokee Bible Project and the Four Rivers Native American Church in their missions. Contributor Bio:  Wilkes, Brian Lord BRIAN WILKES has worked in the field of genealogical and heraldic research, leading to contacts with many of the titled families of the world. While studying the works of the late Baronet Sir Iain Moncreiffe, he was surprised to learn the extent of the British Royal Family's Balkan ancestry, including descent of the current monarch and her heirs from Vlad II Dracul and even the Prophet Muhammed! Ennobled by the Orthodox Order of St. Anna in 2011 and by the Kingdom of Ghassan in 2012, Baron Wilkes is active in charitable and humanitarian causes in several countries, including wildlife and nature preservation in Romania with his distant kinswoman, Princess Brianna Caradja. He is the author of over 60 books.
