Master artist Jon Rafter can restore antique paintings back to their original luster with little effort, but he can't restore his wife Annie's happiness after she suffers a late-term miscarriage. Living in a refurbished plantation house they converted into a bed and breakfast, the Rafters slowly drift apart until treasure hunters book every room in the house in a quest to find a legendary stash of gold coins. Taken prisoner and locked away in the attic of their own home, Jon and Annie search in vain for a way out, but instead find a mysterious journal written by the previous homeowner that will help them rekindle their flickering love for each other. But their guests are desperate, and will stop at nothing-including murder-to find the gold. Relying on their faith and past experiences in law enforcement, Jon and Annie have only one chance to escape their house alive. And with these guests, their escape won't come easy.
