And, his abuse and neglect have left him emotionally and physically in a constant state of alert. Looking at crisis from a Christian perspective, this series follows Bruin as he stumbles into traditional stages, Fright/flight, Anger/Depression, Denial, and Acceptance. Through his newly found friends, Maddie and Reggie, Bruin works through the crisis, and finds new habits and mechanisms to help better cope with change, good or bad, that may come his way.
