Publisher Marketing: CHAIM GOLDBERG'S ISRAELI LANDSCAPES Vol. #10 is a look at the painting techniques of one of the Twentieth Century's great Expressionist artists. His landscapes have remained largely unrecognized although the paintings (mostly watercolors) have sold well. His Jewish and Holocaust themed art overshadowed his other creative drive. Landscapes were but a small body of work that represented his underlying desire to create art for art sake and not only for the aspect of chronicling the quaint village life he remembered so well, but also to express his inner feelings and reactions to a scene he enjoyed. In the other catalogs of this series of publications, titled, The Complete Works of Chaim Goldberg, we explore his non-Judaic themes, such as the extensive work as a Modernist, painter of dance and of the circus. Chaim Goldberg remains an enigma, since his Jewish themes have taken a front row up until now. We hope you will enjoy discovering the depth of this artist and his universal message of peace and brotherhood. Rachel Goldberg, his wife and life-long companion summed it up best, "Chaim Goldberg does not paint dance for the dance aspect, but to inspire people to greater feelings of brotherhood and peace among nations." Contributor Bio:  Goldberg, Shalom Shalom Goldberg is the son of the artist, born on July 4th, 1953 and is the official Curator of the Chaim Goldberg Collection. He has cataloged the collection and has tracked down art by his father whose ownership was previously unknown. He has organized exhibits and is working tirelessly to establish the artist for what he truly was - an all around major force in the 20th Century art.
