Daniel Brian, who bases some of his fiction on true life events and people he knew growing up on the streets and back roads of Southern Indiana. These stories skirt the edges of noir, horror, the paranormal, and historical fiction, at times bringing the dark, hazy boundaries of two or more of all of the genres within a single story, taking the reader on journeys of heartbreak, teenage angst and rebellion, and the dark abyss of the human mind - and the darker side of humanity - and into a world where at times nothing it what it seems.
