Thirty year old David Howard, on his regular morning run on the beach, receives a strange message written in the sand and so begins corresponding with an elusive stranger. In an unusual series of events, he falls in love with his new pen-pal and things reach a climax when he demands to meet the stranger who calls himself Sand, the man who has made a profound difference to David's life. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes and David has to make a decision that will cause him to forsake his new-found love to spare him unnecessary sorrow. In an ironic twist of fate, the situation changes and David realises that he has made a grave mistake. Is it too late to make amends to the man he spurned, the man he truly loves?
