Women have been treated as inferior to men since the beginning of time. Is this God's intent or is it something humans came up with? It says in the Bible in Genesis 1:27 that God created humans in his own image, both male and female. There is no indication in that passage that either male or female would have a dominant position; there is an implied equality. The Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 3:28 that male and female are equal in Christ. Again, a clear statement that men and women are equal before God. In spite of these clear indications of God's will, the matter of equality between men and women has been argued within the church ever since the church began. This book is an attempt to show where the human race got off track regarding equality and to show how we can get back to God's original intent.
