Publisher Marketing: Warren P. Laughlin worked for Wall Street making money for the fat cat financiers trading on the exchange. He shared a hobby with his good friend and fellow trader Cecil, frequenting the casinos in Atlantic City to relieve the stress of the job. That was his life for twenty years until Cecil dropped dead of a coronary while chewing on a greasy hot dog. Time travel brought Warren and Pam, along with Agnes Lake, to 1876 Deadwood City and an encounter with the legendary Wild Bill Hickok. Agnes who was married to the former lawman briefly, hoped to tweak the historical events regarding Hickok's death. The scoundrel Jack McCall, shot the famous gunman in the head as he sat at a poker table with his back to the door unable to defend himself. Agnes very much wanted to give Wild Bill a chance to face his killer before dying. Warren, a current day Wall Street trader teams with the two women from the past, one a madam and proprietor of the brothel Pam's Purple Parlor and the other a former circus performer, together, attempt to alter history.
