Back in the mists of time an organisation was created. Through time they built hidden starbases, just waiting. Then their enemy arrived, insidious, politically adept and seemingly the salvation of many of the planets fallen into decay. Politics, religion, the environment, that was their playground and they were very good at what they did. It didn't take them long to take over and it didn't take long for the benevolent father figure to become the all dictating overlord. Mission Command were waiting for them. Their people many and varied, flawed and perfect, all so different. As the worlds fell under the thrawl of the Followers many unusual creatures and people are there to throw their lot in with this enigmatic organisation. Many are willing to fight for the True Prince, a man who carries the Royal Bloodline which allows him to use artifacts. Many are willing just to fight because they have nothing left to go home to.
