It covers more than a century from the late 1800's to the early 2000's. The stories tell of a simpler time. All stories have a seed of truth in them. Of particular interest is an invention by Haddon Jacob Shanklin in the 1920's to harness the tide of the Bayof Fundy for Electricity. The book contains many full color photographs and facsimile photos of the the Tidal Engine patents.
