This book was written by an 11-year old for third-seventh graders. The perilous journey to defeating King Cronus begins with a boy..... Zeus is a twelve-year old inhabitant of the large Greek island of Crete. He wants to know who his parents were, why lightning all of a sudden is attacking him one night, how he ended up on Crete, and why Hagno the nymph and Amaltheia the goat are taking care of him. But soon, Zeus is kidnapped by four merciless, dimwitted half-giants who are part of the Titan Omega, lead by the nasty King Cronus. Zeus is shipped to Delphi, Greece, but tries to escape as they reach the mainland. Trouble whips up like a hurricane when the brave twelve-year old releases the Olympians from King Cronus's abnormally gargantuan belly after tipping a nasty solution into his mouth. The Olympians come skyrocketing out of Cronus's mouth, but three go missing while Zeus befriends the other two. Will Zeus's newfound formidable and electrically energetic thunderbolt save him and his friends? Or will he be permanently annihlated by a monster-son of Typhoon and Echidna?Follow the author on Twitter @keshavramesh1.
