The Benefits Of Addressing God As Father Christian Willie J Henderson

Do you remember the first time you heard your little baby say the words, "Mama" or "Daddy" for the first time and how delighted it made you feel? Well, you may not realize this but God, your heavenly Father experiences the same thrill and excitement when He hears us, his children (2 Cor. 6:18; 1Jn.31) say for the first time, "Abba, Father" (Rom.8:15; Gal.4:6; Mk.14:36). As you grow to understanding who God really is you will finally come to realize what a privilege it is to be able to call Him, "Abba Father, Daddy" and especially the benefits that God's children have verses those who don't know Him as Father, but just simply as God. Realizing that He is more a heavenly Father to you than a God is one of the highest distinctions and favors that be expect. Learning what it means to follow Christ's example and address God as Father when you pray will be a life-changing experience that will open many doors and that were once closed.
