A first sight reading piano book for young children which aims to simplify sight reading and make it FUN! The approach is structured following the content of the Lightning Piano Books. It focuses on pulse, rhythm and reading pitch by both note recognition and pitch direction. Each chapter includes duets which not only make sight reading more enjoyable but encourage pupils to keep the pulse and to listen while playing. Inspired by Paul Harris' books on Simultaneous Learning, Lightning Piano introduces new concepts slowly and logically a step at a time so that theory, aural and practical skills are combined.
