MURDER MOST JUDGMENTAL A DETECTIVE JAKE SWANSON MURDER MYSTERY A prominent family law judge and his wife lay dead in their driveway with fingers of suspicion pointing at the possibility that their deaths is a revenge killing by disgruntled client; or maybe retribution by a wealthy father upset at a judge's ruling; or something more sinister--a hit on the judge who is also a Naval officer investigating an international plot to smuggle nuclear material into the mid-east. All of these possibilities lead Newport Beach Detective Jake Swanson on the hunt for a killer, or killers. Lead through the local courthouse, the upscale neighborhoods of Southern California, and a federal prison, while fending off the intrusions of a nosy NIS agent, an over-controlling chief of police, and a love-sick partner, all intent on making Jake's life miserable. The burning question is whether Jake can find the killer, or will he be killed first?
