When the Minolta SR-T 101 first blasted on to the scene in March of 1966 was greedy and wanted one so bad I was like one of Pavlov's dogs and salivated every time a new article appeared in one of the many photography magazines featuring it. Unfortunately, many decades would pass before I would be able to indulge the pleasure. Incidentally, as a matter of interest, for those of unsatisfied curiosity, the SRT stands for Shashinki Refu-Tashima; the engineer who developed the through-the-lens metering innovations in the SRT series of cameras. This book is entirely pictorial and every image contained herein was taken with the Minolta SR-T 101 35MM film camera.
